Regional Sales Manager

Duties: Direct sales to academic and pharmaceutical research laboratories. The initial territory is the Southern California region, expanding to Northern California as sales progress.

Education: BS or BA plus 4 years of direct sales experience in the preclinical market.

Responsibilities: Prospecting and qualifying accounts. Making sales calls to present products and closing sales. Coordinating with technical support to provide for after sales service and support.

Location: San Diego

Technical Support Manager

Duties: Provides technical and sales order support for products in the pre-clinical/research imaging field. This person will be the key interface between customers, research, and manufacturing staff for managing current products and development of new products. Provides customer applications support, and conduct basic experiments to support customer needs.

Education: BS or MS in biomedical engineering, chemistry, biology or related field, plus at least 2 years experience in basic or applied research fields, preferably with small animal work. Ultrasound imaging experience a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities: Interfaces with customers to provide technical assistance and support via telephone. Completes order entry and maintains product inventory. Conducts ultrasound experiments to support research projects. Follow-up on sales leads and email inquiries.

Location: San Diego, minimal travel

Scientist II/III (Biology)

Duties: Supports research efforts in development of ultrasound-based transfection technology. Must have excellent skills in culture of common cell lines and primary cells. Molecular biology skills, including RT-PCR, sub-cloning, various transfection techniques, and flow cytometry.

Education: MS or PhD in Cell Biology or related field, with experience managing projects in an academic or industrial research setting.

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for writing grants and performing independent research.Will maintain and evaluate various cell lines for transfection using new and established transfection techniques. Will work closely with Research Lead in development of research plan for evaluation of transfection-based techniques and applications.

Biomedical/Electrical Engineer I

Duties: Supports research efforts in development of ultrasound-based transfection technology. Develops sonoporation equipment and conducts experiments in ultrasound techniques.Education: BS or higher in biomedical or electrical engineering. Experience in ultrasound imaging or therapy systems is necessary.

Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate ultrasound equipment for sonoporation. Measure acoustic output of various ultrasound configurations in biological media.
