Applications in Preclinical Ultrasound Imaging
Targeson has developed two microbubble contrast agents that can be used for molecular and functional imaging using ultrasound. Targeson’s agents are lipid-encapsulated perfluorocarbon microbubbles with a mean diameter of 2.5 um, can be used in a wide variety of animal models, and are compatible with virtually all ultrasound scanners.
