Applications
Targesphere is a cationic delivery agent specifically engineered to be used for in vivo and in vitro transfection of plasmids for over expression or fluorescence tagging, and also introduction of siRNA, shRNA or antisense. Transfection agents can be coupled to the surface of Targesphere by simple incubation techniques and activated by ultrasound energy for intracellular delivery. Optimal dosages vary with application.
Directions for Use
Targesphere consists of a dispersion of cationic, lipid/polymer microspheres encapsulating a core of insoluble gas. Plasmid, siRNA and other anionic payloads can be coupled to the surface of the Targesphere agents by simple incubation. Intracellular delivery can be achieved by activation of the Targesphere agents with acoustic energy.
